Eagles of Thorondor events over the holiday period

1.Instance: Great Barrow Run
Description: The Great Barrow is a tomb and landmark, which can be located in Southern Barrow downs in Breeland. It has been overrun by fell spirits and is home to three world instances: Maze (20), Thadur (22) and Sambrog (24). The Maze and Thadur must be completed in order to unlock Sambrog.

Open to levels 18-50.

Time: 3pm server time (8pm GMT/UTC)
Date: Friday 5th December
Starting location: No meeting place is required. However, players may wish to collect the quests from the camp outside of the Great Barrow. There is a muster-horn at this location.

2. Eaglestock: Taking the Hobbit to Isengard

Description: An Eagles take on ‘Taking the Hobbits to Isengard’ server runs. The challenge is to take a lowbie hobbit, MiniNeem, to Isengard alive and unspoiled. The hobbit will follow one person the group designates so make sure it’s someone who knows the way! If you have a level 10 character, join in and see how long you can survive. No mounts are allowed.

Starting location: The milestone outside of the Prancing Pony, Bree.

3. Instance: Helegrod Drake Wing

Please RSVP as soon as possible as there are only 12 places available.
Prerequisites: You will need access to the Misty Mountains.

Time: 7pm server time
Date: Sunday 7th December

Starting location: No meeting place is required.

2.Eaglestock Tough Chick

Description: An Eagle take on the chicken runs, which sees players getting their chicken on and heading to Rivendell without protectors. This can be done in teams, pairs or solo and whoever reaches the Rivendell stables, or gets the closest, is the winner.

Prerequisites: Make sure you have unlocked the Flying the Coop quest chain starting with The Sky is Falling: http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Chicken_Play

Date: Sunday 14th December

Starting location: Sandson’s Farm, outside of Michael Delving in the Shire.

3.Eaglestock goes Festive

Description: We shall celebrate the holidays with some fun and games at the kinship house, before heading off to the Yuletide Festival for some Frostbluff action. Open to all levels and no prerequisites needed.

Date: Sunday 21st December

Starting location: Kinship house.

4.Eaglestock New Year’s Party

Description: We shall celebrate the holidays with some fun and games at the kinship house, before heading off to the Yuletide Festival for some Frostbluff action. Open to all levels and no prerequisites needed.

5. Eaglestock Winter Freeze Tag

Description: Join us in Bree for a crazy winter game of Freeze Tag. Open to all levels and no prerequisites needed.
