      I saw this rainbow one night in Enedwaith. The sky was cloudless and of course, no sun – so where did the rainbow come from?

      A few minutes later it was gone, and the usual beautiful night time clouds of Enedwaith were back.

      That’s indeed impressive, and theoretically impossible. But what’s impossible in Middle-Earth? Maybe it was a kind of magic signal?
